My first car, and current car, is a Vauxhall Corsa VXR 1.6 (2013). Not cheap on insurance or fuel, let's just say that! But is very fun to drive :yep:

What was your first car, and what car do you have now?
2011 Mercedes Benz E-Class W212 E350CDI. "Bit off" for a first car but happy to still own it after year of having it with me. Thinking of selling but not sure haha

Peugoet 206 55 plate, was 8 years old when I got it and was on 22k miles. Steal for like 2k. Insurance was £1200 which quickly fell. Crazy the way I use to drive it, poor car

Wrote that off in Dec 2017 so now a wee seat Ibiza 1.6 tdi 13 plate. Love it, v economical. Just a shame I do so many miles

Next will be a 3 year old GTC or Seat Leon, with more punch. Have to wait though

My first car was a Ford Fusion, I’ve had to scrap the car now. Unfortunately I haven’t got a car at the moment though need to save up for the car itself/insurance/tax, etc. I miss driving just hope I can save up and get a car soon

Yeah, make sure the fuel tank doesn't leak or else you're gonna get even less MPG.

In all seriousness it was fun to drive tbf. Which year are you looking at?

I had a seat ibiza 1.4 sportrider 100bhp, quite fast for a first car. now have a bmw 530d.
I wouldnt recommend a vxr as a first car, its better to start off in something slower and change after a year.

Slower for sake of slowness no.

For the sake of insurance yes.

Insurance costs are insane but rapidly come down
