Is starting 2 weeks late gonna have any negative effects on my time at university?

I'm in the same boat as you. My start date was 18-Sept but I can enroll latest on 29th-Sept. I'm just waiting for my U.K visa then which should come any day now. The only problem is that I applied to my uni and am a freshman who's coming to the UK for the first time and I'm on the waiting list for accommodations. Any advice. I'm attending Brunel University

I'm not sure about socially as it would differ for each person but probably not academically. First week is mainly induction stuff so you'd only be missing a week of proper lectures. Just make sure you catch up.
