How do I get to the front of a standing concert??

I'm going to see All Time Low soon, and my girlfriend and I have standing tickets, but want to be close to, if not at the front, because its a pretty big arena, so being at the back would suck balls. Any tips??
camp outside a week early
Get there super early, I'd say about 3 or 4 hours before doors open. When you get in don't waste time by looking at merch etc, just get to the barrier or as close to the barrier as you can. Stand through all the support bands, and then viola.
Get there early. Depending on how famous the artist is you may have to be there a few hours before the doors open.

Get there quite early. If you're not as close as you'd like, just sorta push to the front. People won't usually care just say you're other friends are up there or something if anyone asks.
Pushing helps.
You can get to the front pretty easy, just don't be a d*ck about it.

When I was younger and wanted to the front, I'd just wait until the last support act had finished and then moved closer when people were more relaxed and space was made by people leaving for the toilets / bar.
