My predicted grades AAB and I want to apply for chemical engineering at Bath. Do you think this is a bad idea as their typical offer is A*AA ??

It might depend on the rest of your academic profile. However, if you did an epq you would receive an alternative offer of AAA + A.

And never forget a) that it's only one of five choices, and b) if you don't try you can't succeed.
