I do think it is actually intended that you finish the TSA since you get marks depending on how many correct answers you get. But hey I don't know.

yeah, i tried (unwisely) guessing the last 5 :s-smilie:
i regret doing that, bcoz if they were all wrong, they must be wondering.."what the hell is wrong with her?!"
and it'll def count against me :frown:

Written test?? What written test, Pembroke only asks you to do the TSA. I am getting really confused.

They had me do a written test... three questions, first one about gas prices set by the governor of georgia (state not country), second question was a stats one IQ vs Income graph which i had to interpret...it was pretty easy, third about income/investment/ gdp.

i didnt take the TSA

i love pembroke too, i really hope that they accept me, but it's harder cause im in the US, so our grading system is different.

I was there on the 5th
I enjoyed my interviews, although I butted in several times in my first interview which was probably over-zealous. I got really stuck in my second interview and the prompting didn't help because it didn't follow my line of thinking. I got there eventually and one of the interviwer was like "it took longer than I thought and it is the simplest answer I've seen" - which means???

the interviewers are rude.

Bit of a generalisation, mine were perfectly nice.

How did no-one finish the TSA?! I finished it with 5 mins to go, and checked the ones i wasn't as sure on..

Shame it probably won't count for much as i think i did quite well on it!

How nice for you! This is why I say don't talk to other applicants.

Agreed, it is the old 'you only got 10 A*'s!' syndrome.

Well, if it carries much weight then I'm doomed because I ran out of time and also had a maths block (couldn't do most of the maths questions even though I usually manage). T.T

Well i don't exactly have bragging rights - with my only 3 A*s at GCSE, a C at AS and a really poor second interview. The only part of my application i was happy with! :s-smilie:

Did they allow you to walk out of the testing room if you finished the TSA early? A couple of guys walked out of the TSA 10 - 20 mins before the end of the test. I can only assume that they were really confident that they got their questions right as they werent crying when they left the room.

I don't know to be honest. I only had 5 mins left, so i just checked the answers i wasn't sure of.

What subject /college did you apply for?
Law, Downing

Predicted Grades?
AAAB, achieved '06

How did your interviews go?
OK, I think. Hard to tell.

What questions were u asked?
100% academic, quite a diverse field of questions - some logical/practical and others more discursive.

How did you feel b4/after your interview?
A couple of nights before the interview I was really not looking forward to it. I spent the night before in college and having some time to reflect on my own helped me to calm down. The interviewers walked past me (going into the office) whilst I was waiting and said hello, which helped calm me down even more. I really enjoyed the first interview, so I was feeling quite good about the second one. Also talked to a few other law applicants which helped a lot. Afterwards? Felt quite pleased with it. I made a few gaffes but otherwise felt I did myself justice. So, if I'm not going to get in, I was never going to, and can't kick myself for really stupid mistakes.

What is your college like?
Absolutely stunning, spacious. Very friendly and encouraging - I wasn't even sure whether I could apply due to various circumstances, but they were very quick to assure me otherwise once I got in touch and the students were all really helpful.

How did the Interviewers respond?
They were all extremely reassuring, so any nerves evaporated fairly quickly. They didn't give very much away, though.

You can never tell how you did, I know, but I really enjoyed the experience and it made me realise how much I want to do law  aww :p:

The lady told us if you finished really early as in like 30 minutes, then you'd be allowed to leave, but if it was around 10-15 minutes you'd have to wait 'til the end.

No one left

I'm really hoping that the TSA would compensate for my deplorable performance during the ONLY interview I had.

I finished with 15 min left and went over all the questions. But, I suppose this is the magic of SAT ^___________________^
