Life at Kingston

I'm trying to decide whether to study history of art and fine art joint honours at Kingston. What is it like to live at Kingston? Is it as expensive as central London? How long does it take to travel to central London? Just want to know generally about the area.

ok so i know nothing about the uni but i live in the area. it’s honestly a great area it’s got clubs if that’s your thing, concert venues (gigs hosted by banquet records), areas to relax by the thames, massive shopping centre, cinema, pretty much everything. great connections to central london takes maybe half an hour or less on the train, especially if you go to surbiton station (about 15 minutes from main campus) as opposed to kingston station although even there it’s only around 30 mins
