I'm not sure whether or not to apply to Oxbridge. I intend to apply for History fyi
At GCSE I got A*AAAABBBBBD (the D is in Drama so I doubt they would acknowledge that).
In my first years mocks I got AAB (in History I was 1 mark off an A). I know it isn't an A, yet my first assessment in 2nd year came out as an A. It isn't the end of the world if I don't apply so I'm just asking for advice.

    Many thanks

Well a typical offer for studying history at Cambridge is A*AA and for Oxford it is AAA.

If you think you can get at least AAA by the end of your 2nd year, and are on track to do so, then I think you should go for it and apply.

Edit: Also I forgot to add that you can’t apply for both Oxford AND Cambridge, so you’d have to pick between the two. (Not sure if you already knew this).

You have to choose between Cambridge and Oxford - so research the courses first. And you don't have long to decide (apply before 15th Oct...).

As above poster, you need to be on target for A*AA for Cambridge to be a realistic applicant. And you will need to sit the History Admissions Assessment.

Check Oxford's site for their course, and requirements.
