    Does anyone actually know how to try and get an unconditional offer from universities in England?

    complete your a levels, or apply to a really uncommon/unpopular course from a low rank uni

    As above - with grades already achieved

    OR where applicants are still to take their A levels etc :

    Each year some low/middle range Unis try hooking people in with 'if you pick us as your Firm choice we'll make it Unconditional'.

    They do this to a) fill unpopular courses, b) to stop applicants who get higher results going into Adjustment, c) ensnare the gullible who think their A level grades then dont matter, etc etc.

    Ask yourself WHY they are doing this - ie. why cant they fill their courses and why do they have to bribe people to go there?

    I know that Birmingham has a tendency to give certain applicants unconditional offers

    Well thanks for the reply guys but basically all these uni’s I’m looking to do a Maths BSc and they’ve all given me requirements already but I need to send my application soon so
