Why don't you live in halls or a student house? Much cheaper than a studio flat and this way you'll get to meet other students.
I was allocated shared accommodation which is impossible for me due to my lifestyle (i clearly stated that in my application but it wasn't taken into consideration)

What is your lifestyle if you don't mind me asking?
I don't drink, or go to parties, sleep around 10. also religious
Ok no offence but that is not a good enough reason to be given your own accommodation. When you said "due to your lifestyle" I thought you were going to say you were disabled or suffered from a chronic illness or something.
Plenty of religious people (I'm gonna take a wild guess that you're Muslim here) live in halls. You don't have to drink or party and you're a grown ass adult you can go to bed whenever the hell you want. Did you actually check who you were living with? They might have actually been Muslim too.
But whatever too late for that now I guess. I would live at home because if you got a studio apartment most people will assume you're a spoilt rich kid and when they hear why you refused to live in halls they're gonna think you're stuck up and unbelievably self-centred lol.
