M3 Simple Harmonic Motion w/strings

Hi guys.

Can anyone take a look at my working for question 8b.

What i did:

The distance travelled under SHM is 0.4m.
I found out what proportion of a cycle this was.
I multiplied this by the time period.

According to the solution bank this is where i went wrong however i am unsure why i went wrong.

If anyone could have a look over my working out and let me know what u think.

Thanks

This methodology assumes that the mass is moving at a constant speed, which it clearly isn't.
