Computer and Information Systems

Any general intoductory text to computers and how they work wil be of some value. A way of gaining up-to-date info is by reading computr mags like Which PC or PC World.

Although we do not expect any degree of computer competence when you begin the course, if you would like to become familiar with specific software packages before you arrive, we recommend the following:
