    Basically, when I sat a spare AS level in my final year of sixth form, my grandmother had a medical emergency and I was the only one around to look after her till the ambulance arrived, and even then I'd rather have gone with her than go sit my exam. As a result, I got a U overall in my Biology AS level- but does this even count as a qualification, AFAIK you have to get an E or above to actually qualify for certification? So do I never have to mention to anyone that I got a U in biology?
