I've got a questionnaire from them about a 3 weeks ish ago. It's the equivalent of an interview for the course I've applied for. They sent me that about a 3 weeks ish after I'd applied. So no, they didn't take ages to reply for me. But take it as a good sign that they haven't rejected you straight away!
they took ages to give me my offer last year, about 2 months i think, it had the lowest entry requirements of all the unis i applied to as well

I guess it varies with departments and admission tutors. Me and my friend both applied for geography last year, and sent our ucas off at the same time. I received my offer about a week and a half after sending my ucas, and my friend got his offer about 4 weeks.

good luck with your application.

I havn't applied yet :frown: Does this give me a lesser chance?

MMU took ages to reply to me. It was even worse when it came to applying for accommodation -if you ever have a query; ring them, don't email them.

Same with me as well they are taking a long while, with every other place I applied to I got offers within 1 week. MUU takes a long while, based on my grades I doubt they will rejectme, just I would like to know

Give it time I guess

They take forever to reply, i had to wait two months for mine and i only got the answer "unofficially" because i'd bugged them so much, a few weeks later i got the letter saying i'd got in blah blah blah, a joke really. Accommodation time's do take ages and i would have like to have known what part of the halls i was living in before i'd arrived.

mine was processed in mid december and i got my acknowledgement postcard thingy yesterday. dunno if theyre waiting to get all applicant before the start offering for law i dunno :s-smilie:

i applied in mid november and only received my law offer this week. so yeah they must be waiting for everyone im thinking, or just being painstakingly long with their applications! although i've heard from a few that they recevived their offers around a month or go or less.
They were the last ones to reply to mine, and they even put their offer up by 60 pts- after i applied.
but yeh, it looks sound.

im the same with lancaster :frown:

al replies are in before the 31st of march and i doubt theyll take that long.
i applied for social work at mmu end of november/early december. all ive had is a letter saying they are keeping me under consideration and will have a result by the end of march. thats ages away!!! x

Durham and Warwick are the worst. they don't send offers out till the end of march and then they have to interview and such.

and march isnt that long. this years going waaaaay fast!

I applied in the first week of November and had a conditional offer by Christmas. I only applied to three Unis but out of the three, Manchester Met were the quickest.

Had mine the other day through the post, they accepted so it's MMU next year! How long does it take for them to update the UCAS track thing?

if its an unofficial one it'll be up to two weeks for it to get through the uni admissions people for it to be rubber stamped and put on the website

if its official straight off i imagine it'll be a couple of days :s-smilie:

off to the open day on the 12th methinks and dragging mummy along. didn't look around before so i really need to.
