I haven't been here for very long but all I feel is homesick, I get along either my flat mates and course mates, but the course already seems so demanding compared to a levels and the only time I feel 'happy' is if I'm out drinking as it takes my mind of thing. What do I do?

I can relate. I feel really home sick and I left a lot of things behind where I lived, that for once, was going well... I just feel like I have to start again and wish I went to a uni closest to home now.

I would say though. Give it more time. It has only been a few days or weeks (depending on what uni) if you still feel like this before xmas (only reason I say before xmas because it takes a years funding otherwise if you drop out afterwards) then transfer to either one near home or take a year out and decide on your options

It's normal to feel homesick. It takes 6 months to settle in to uni

Get your **** orgasnised, get your friends together, buy stuff that makes your room seem homely.
    Eventually, you'll settle in 👌
