Working in asda full time after alevels watch

    • Thread Starter

I do not want to go to university, so i might work in asda full time should i?
If i do i will be doing night shifts how much will i get an hour? (UK)

In Tesco's it's around £7.20 per hour for a customer assistant. Every hour worked during nights or on Sundays gives you £1 extra on top of your normal hourly wage so I assume it is similar at Asda.

If I was you I'd look for an apprenticeship while working at asda, working in supermarket retail feels like you're a slave to the public. One of the most soul destroying jobs you can do.

If you start on nights now you will be on contract 6 which means you get 8.50 per hour but an extra 2.53 between 00.00 and 0500......I would recommend to go full time on days as nights it's no good longterm
