    okay good it is the sign try (x+1) (x^2-x+1)

    Use algebraic division by writing the original expression as x^3 + 0x^2 + 0x +1

    Normally when a question wants you to factorise a cubic or higher & gives you one or more of the factors this is what it wants you to do, much quicker and you know that if you end up with a remainder then you've gone wrong somewhere
