At the moment I'm doing French, geog English Lit and economics at a level.

Is it better to do lit than Lang with my other subject choices and if you've studied either of the english's before could you please tell me how you found it.
I'm also thinking of changing economics to biology to keep my career options open but don't know if it'll be worth it because it's one science on its own.

I did English lit and didn't like it. If my school had English lang at the time I would've done that instead.

In regards to economics vs. biology - decide based on these two things: Which are you better at? Which do you enjoy more?

Thanks. I was originally doing English Lang but then changed it to lit. I'm really not keen on either of them but I don't really have much choice and I thought I would prefer lit but now I don't really know, it's just reeally stressing me out. As for economics it's quite interesting, but I don't think it's going to be of use to me.

English Literature tends to be well thought of - it's a 'facilitating subjects'. English language is less well thought off

However, it would be better to do Language if a) you find it much more interesting and/or b) you are likely to get a much higher grade in it.

If you feel the same way about both of them and think you would get the same grade in both, the Literature would be better.
