You have to be different to be unique and unique things are usually treasured the most, but it's not all about outside appearances if your friend has a good personality and character, shouldn't that be the what matters the most.

Noone is ugly. Everyone is subjective. Everyone has room for improvement. Everyone will look pretty/ handsome to someone.

The only thing that is ugly with an ugly person is their self esteem and mindset for thinking they're ugly.

Tell your friend to watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2js063a1Suk&t=327s

I don't even think she's ugly, but what she says is 100%.

That 1% is make or break imo. Theres sooo many options.
You could get surgery if it was extremely damaging your confidence

If you're a bloke, get jacked.

    If you're a lass, squat.

    Simples.

Sometimes you can change your looks a lot just by wearing your hair in a different style, using spot remover or changing up your fashion style.

I look a lot more attractive when my hair is loosely tied up, it seems to change my entire facial structure.

But to be honest, most people don't look ugly. Even "ugly" people are usually fairly average, and average is honestly no bad place to be on the spectrum of looks.

Beauty fades over time anyway, and anyone worth your time cares more about your personality than your slightly crooked nose or your big chin.
