Hey everyone, a friend of mine (he's 15) is travelling from Lincolnshire to London this weekend but is worried because people say he looks older than his age and, if he buys a child ticket, he's afraid he'll get thrown off the train or fined because he has no proof of age to take with him. Is it likely that they will question his child ticket?

I think they'd only question it if he was clearly way over age wise, could have have school id or his birth certificate if he's really concerned?

He doesn't have a school ID, and his birth certificate is in London so he won't have it for the journey there, but I was thinking that they surely won't confront him about it. If they do he'll just have to explain that he doesn't have ID with him?
