Sitting next to him in maths class for a year now, but we don’t talk that much apart from maths stuff.

I have a crush on him for 7 months, I tried to get over him because I can’t make any move and I’m just too shy but it doesn’t work very well

    Any advice??

Aww I’m a guy who has this crush on a girl and I’m the same I don’t know if she wants me to talk to her or what.

I think being a girl you should message him on Facebook or something? Cause i feel it’s easier cause you never know maybe he’s shy and likes you too.

    Start like you usually do

Ask him about a Maths problem, find a difficult question - and ask him if he knows the answer, or how to work it out

Then make a humurous comment about the maths teacher, drop your pencil/pen by accident by his chair - get some physical contact by trying to get it, share a maths textbook or forget to bring yours, use your calculator to say hello - (I don't remember what numbers you type in, then turn it upside down) - Maybe think of a rude word or something - it will either make him laugh or make him think something else...

You need to steer the conversation to a more general note, what do you know about him? who does he hang around with? Is he in any of your other classes?

& above, talk to her with no pressure, just a general conversation, you will be able to tell from non-verbal cues what to do after..

Thanks for your advice!! I’ll definitely try these in the next few days. Tbh I don’t really know him much I often see him around college in common area with his friends. I know none of them since I came to the uk a year ago. Also I’m not confident in my English so I feel difficult to start conversation with local students (not because I hate them but I don’t know what sort of things they talk about)

Thanks for giving me advice! I really appreciate it xx
