Heard flatmate cheating on her fiance with her ex watch

    Yup.

Only 1 week into uni and this happens.

I've been getting on with my flatmate, thought she was nice/trustworthy. Even went out for lunch with her and found her sweet. Met her fiance a few times (he goes to another uni in the next city over but stays over a lot), and he seems like a really nice bloke.

She told me her ex was coming around tonight just for a catch up, and to go out for a few drinks which didn't seem out of the ordinary to me as some people get on with their ex's. She told me her fiance knew and wasn't happy about it but trusted her. She told me she was sleeping on the sofa and he was gonna have her bed.

Went downstairs for a drink at 4am, she's not on the sofa. Get a drink and head upstairs, hear them going at it like rabbits. Honestly, you could not mistake it for anything else. Mattress squeaking, heavy breathing, moans...I'm a bit traumatised to be honest.

What do I do? I feel so morally conflicted and can never be okay with cheating, little less on somebody you're engaged to. However, I also feel like it's not my place to say anything or get involved.

at this point I don't think you should do anything because you've only just met her. Not sure what one could do anyway, it wouldn't be right to interfere.

Only thing you should be concerned about is the noise at that time of night. Just casually mention that she might want to be a bit quieter next time.
