I am on my second year of a foundation degree course studying media production, however I am wanting to apply for a 2018 start on a university that is film/tv related but is specific to one area of the industry I want to focus on to go into (tv production management).

I thought this was possible to do, however I am hearing lots of rumours now the time has come to apply that you only get 4 years worth of loans from SFE available to you? Meaning since I have already used 2, I wouldn’t be able to do this other course as it is 3 years? And I have also heard that if I did want to do it that I would have to pay tuition/maintenance loan by myself for the first year? Which just seems entirely possible to do on your own.

    Any help?
