So i'm sitting the new OCR a-level geography and i'm only just doing my independent investigation but i am not entirely sure what to do it on.
I was thinking along the lines of either:
- Social Inequalities and quality of life/standard of living
- Trade
or anything from these following modules:
Changing spaces;making places
Earths life support systems
power and borders
Glaciated landscape
Trade in the contemporary world.

However, I'm restricted to only being able to investigate within the West Midlands area.....

You would be better off doing the investigation on an aspect of physical geography as it is much easier to write about as you can use geographical equipment rather than the typical questionnaire to the bloke down the local pub... an idea could be the impact rainfall has on an area of land (and if you are near a river then the impact on the river) and how well the land can deal with this rainfall. Hope this helps 😊
I guess but i only wanted to do a human geography orientated investigation because i enjoy it more; which i feel would make the investigation easier for me. Living in Birmingham, to me makes it more difficult to investigate physical aspects :/ but thank you!
