Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning - Anyone know much about it?

Hi all,
I am looking into trying to work towards a diploma in regulated financial planning through the CII. There are the 6 units to complete and although I know its subjective to a load of factors, how long does each unit take to be ready for the exam on it if studying for roughly 45 minutes to an hour per day, at least 6 days per week? Also, if I only complete 4 of the 6 exams within the gap between 01 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 do I then have to resit the 4 I have already done the following year? And also, is this something that can be self taught just using the tools that they give you or would you recommend me finding a private tutor or a job that links more directly to the role.
If I have said anything wrong feel free to correct me.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks
