So I’m on a monthly contract with o2, currently Have an iPhone 6 and bought a Samsung s7 edge by myself and not through the contract. I ordered a pay as you go SIM card and I’m trying to transfer my number from the old sim to the new one but o2 swap my sim keeps saying my sim serial number is incorrect and it isn’t and it’s not allowing me to proceed. Is there any particular reason for this? It’s really frustrating!

According to the swap my sim website, the serial number needs to be of the new sim, are you sure you're entering it correctly?

It's best to call up O2 in this case, there might be a different problem that needs to be addressed.
