hi everyone, i am taking english literature as a private candidate in january. i have already completed the poetry aspect of the exam as coursework and achieved a high A*. the poetry coursework contributes to 40% of my overall gcse.

however, i am unsure when i should start revising for my english literature gcse in january. i have reread my texts to refresh my memory, so i now just need to memorise analysis of key themes and characters. when do you guys think i should start revising for it? the english literature exam is on the 8th of january. i feel like if i start revising now for it, i will burn out.

I think it's best if you start now, keep practicing to make sure you receive an A*.

Do atleast 2 days revision a week and try to go everything.

Also if possible you should try doing a level literature revision because If your a step higher you will do much better
