A2

A = 120
B = 100
C = 80
D = 60
E = 40

and then half it for AS, so at AS an A is worth 60.

to use track, you have to wait for a welcome letter from UCAS.
this will include your application number, which is a nine digit number...
then you simply visit this website

https://track.ucas.com/ucastrack/Login.jsp

insert your application number, username & password (these will be the same as the ones you used for "apply")

wow.. it seems that ib's have more than twice as much value as the A-levels since AAA = 360 = 27/45pts at ib
As far as I know you can get UCAS points from music qualifications and key skills too, although some universities may ask for X amount of points from 3 a-levels in which case you can't include them.

Well, presumebly if you had AAA at A levels then you'd also have AAA at AS as well (well you could have anything as low as CCC probably but lets just say AAA for arguments sake) which means that you'd actually have 540 UCAS points.
^ AS which are carried to A2 are not counted towards the points total.

No it doesnt work like that, the AS is worth 60 and the A2 is worth 60 as well, so one AS level = 60pts, one Alevel (which includes an AS level) = 120pts

Oh...guess I got that wrong then. Ah well, live and learn!

Yes, that's true. But as most universities give grade offers, rather than tariff offers, it's not really an issue.
I know this is old... but do you get any more for music exams/drama exams? SORRY found out now!!
