HI, i have recently finished college with a CACHE Level 3 diploma in childcare and education and with previous applications to becoming a teaching assistant not being very successful, i have been looking into completing the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support in Teaching and Learning in Schools (TQUK). None of my local colleges offer this course so it would have to be done online, however i am aware that many online providers aren't trusted. I have been looking at doing it with the Open Study College. I was wondering if anyone has done this through the Open Study College and how they have found them? Also if this would be a good qualification to take with wanting to become a Teaching Assistant?Any advice would be well received!

Hi, yes I completed the Level 3 cache diploma in supporting teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. At the moment I'm just about to complete my level 5 course which obviously is much tougher than level 3. However if I had not completed my level 3 Cache course I don't think I would have pursed my studies. I learnt a lot in level 3.

Good luck in any future studies

Hi
Thanks for reply. My question was about TQUK level 3 specialist support in teaching and learning. Do you have any idea if this is fully recognized and regarded by schools. I am just about to start it and any advice will be very helpful. (Original post by Noorinoori)
