Mark Conversion from Danish University

Hi,

I'm currently doing a year abroad in Denmark but I'm very confused about how they are going to attempt to convert my grades from Danish to a British classification (Leeds).

Denmark has an odd system of grading but it roughly is equal to the european standard of ABCDE. However it is not possible to get anything above or inbetween. But does this mean that the highest that I will be able to achieve in the UK is a grade of 70?

My university says it is unable to provide details of the translation but I dont understand why. Has any one had a similar experience and can tell me how their grades were converted?

Why not ask your international department how they treat qualifications from Denmark?

Alternatively look at other unis? To get an idea then ask your own department again. You just have to dig.
