Whats the best way to study for maths?

Hi guys i just wondered what methods are most useful when studying maths as i'm finding it hard to revise. At the moment i'm just doing questions out of the textbook we use at school but its not really helping much.

Do something with the notes, like reading them out loud or flashcards.

First, make notes from your class notes for 1 hour, prepare flashcards for 1 hour, test yourself on the flashcards/do an exam question for 1 hour, then if there's anything to improve, focus on that for 1 hour. Make sure the hours are spread over several weeks.
