Variations in how much I'm paying back every quarter

Since at least early 2015, I've been manually paying in £1300 per year to SLC (I paid SLC weekly when I was paid weekly, and for the past 1.5 years, I've paid SLC monthly, as I'm now paid monthly).

This is on top of what comes out of my wages, which is minimal (roughly £8 per month).

Since early 2015, I've been checking the Student Loan Repayments website on the 30th every three months, to see how much I owe.

Please see the image attached.

As you can see, the 3-month difference varies a lot.

However, the average of all the amount is £337, which is roughly the correct amount (£25 per week * 4.2 (the average amount of weeks a month) * 3 (every three months) = £315 + the little bits that come out of my wages.

Since the average is roughly correct, I'm sure things are fine.

However, can anyone please explain the variations in the 3-month checks? I don't understand.
