Applying for first year after already attending a non-UK university

I will be applying for Computer Science to Edinburgh for a first year entry. I have already attended college outside of the UK and before starting studies at Edinburgh next year, I will have already completed at least a semester at my current college. Will this cause me any problems in my application and has anyone else ever reapplied successfully after already attending a college?
You would be best advised to contact the university and ask them themselves - they are better positioned to answer this. The short answer is that it may or may not, as universities in England certainly have varying approaches to this, although usually studying outside the UK isn't a problem compared with studying at another UK university.
