Law conversion courses

Hey, I can't seem to find much online in regards to what degrees enable a law conversion course. I understand traditionally it's English Literature or History, sometimes science etc.

How about a musical theatre degree? Provided it was a first or second, I realise.

I'm debating doing something I love for a few years (musical theatre) but transitioning into law as my career. I'd just like to know if it's physically possible.

Thanks in advance.

Your understanding is incorrect.
You just need a 2:2 in any discipline..

When you say a few years you mean your first degree?

You would then do 1 year GDL and 1 year LPC although the training regime changes in 2020 with the introduction of the SQE.

Ahh okay. (I did say "traditionally" not "always" 👍🏻)
Yes, as in I'd undertake a 3 year bachelor in Musical theatre, then entering Law afterwards. Ah, yeah, the SQE changes things. That's okay.

Thank you for the help.

There is no tradition. They don't care. By the time you get to GDL or LPC they are really only bothered whether you can pay.

What's funding like for postgraduate law? Am I expected to pay out of pocket, or I'd imagine it's a mix of loans and self pay (Or whatever input I may or may not have from firms)

Hello I know this post is 2 years old but I was wondering if you went through with it and what your experience was like.
