Do I have a shot at LSE/Warwick

Looking to study Economics/Finance:

GCSE Grades:
Maths: 8 (A*)
English Language: 7(A)
English Literature: 7(A)
Science : (A*A)
Business Studies: (A)
Computing (A)
Geography: (B)
RE: (B)
Photography: (C) :frown:

Taking Maths, FM, Econ and Psychology (may drop), hoping for 3/4 A* predictions (if A is in FM). I will have a lot of wider reading, work experience, PS Enrichment etc. would I even have a chance with my GCSEs? Please be honest. Thanks so much.

Nobody really cares for GCSEs unless you look at medicine, so long as you achieve your 3/4 A* prediction you're pretty set I think.
LSE do care about GCSEs. Yours won't be amazing to them, but it will be good enough if your PS etc is strong. I'd imagine it will be fine for Warwick.

That's interesting to hear, I thought it was only medicine courses / really competitive courses at Oxbridge where they bother to look at GCSEs. Although LSE is arguably just as competitive so I suppose that makes sense. Thanks for the insight!
