Volunteer to perform at every charity institution you can think of.
Volunteer to perform at an elderly person's home.
Volunteer to perform for special needs kids
Play for charity
Play for other people's recordings.

It helps if you if you have a foundation in Music Technology

Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer..

If you want to study music you need to have loaddssss of performance experience and you need to know which type of institution you want to study at: university or Conservatoire.
You should try to join a music Saturday centre like junior guildhall or Royal College of Music Junior Department. Also search if your borough has a youth orchestra or ensembles.
