Right, so I've just been prescribed with Gedarel 30/150 as a combined contraceptive pill.
It says in the warning leaflet thing you get with the tablets that you're advised to stop smoking when on this pill to reduce the risk of blood clots, however I don't smoke very often at all (once or twice a month if that) and when I do it's only one or two socially.
I know it's a bad habit and it'd be better to kick it in the head altogether, but does anyone else who takes the pill socially smoke and is it okay?
    Thanks for your help.

How about just don't smoke? Reduce the risk of cancer too.
