Hello, I was just wondering whether GCSE economics was required for A-level economics. I am choosing my A-levels and was wondering whether I would be able to catch up or not if I were to choose economics?

No, it's not a requirement. Not every school offers Economics at GCSE, let alone the A level.

It's not; I'm doing A Level Economics and I'm finding it fine, even though I didn't do it at GCSE. I don't think anyone in my class did.

I have never met anyone who did Economics at GCSE. (I did A-Level Economics and I'm now studying it at uni.)

You need strong Maths skills but not GCSE Economics - the A level course is designed for those with no prior knowledge.
