I've decided with my teacher to study AS English literature off timetable and take the AS exam in 2019 (study over the two years) but I've now been given the option of which pros to do.
I was just wondering if anyone had had any experience with studying any of these texts on the AQA spec and which ones they preferred.
Persuasion- Jane Austen
Jane Eyre- Charlotte Brontë
Wuthering Heights- Emily Brontë
The Awakening- Kate Chopin
The Rotters’ Club- Jonathan Coe
The Mill on the Floss- George Eliot
Tess of the D’Urbervilles- Thomas Hardy
The Great Gatsby- F. Scott Fitzgerald
A Room with a View- E.M. Forster
The Go-Between - L.P. Hartley
Rebecca- Daphne du Maurier
Atonement- Ian McEwan
I'm pretty sure I would like to do 'The great Gatsby' but any advice on a second choice would be welcome!
