the diagram shows a sketch of the curve y= (x 1)^(-1/2). the region enclosed by the curve, the coordinate axes and the line x=1 is rotated completely about the x axis' volumes of revolution. Find the volume of the solid formed.

When ever I do this, the indices come out as 0???

You are calculating π01y2 dx=π011/(x+1) dx \pi \int_0^1 y^2 \ dx = \pi \int_0^1 1/(x+1) \ dx
