Hiii. So I received my exam result for English Lit in August and I got a grade 6 so I was wondering if I needed to retake it or not. I want to go into a scientific/medical field in the future and I know that unis' are very strict when it comes to applying for those kind of things so I'm having doubts whether my grade 6 would have an impact on that. If you could leave down suggestions below, that would be great! Thank you

They're even more strict about GCSE resits than you getting a 6. A 6 in literature is fine, it's not like you got a 3 in English language (which every university would absolutely care about and reject you for).

Okay, thank you but I've read somewhere that unis' look at your overall GCSEs too so if I hopefully get higher grades (Grade 7's or +) in other subjects, will the 6 affect it?
