    If it's long-term, I think it would be worth mentioning, since it would show commitment, dedication etc.

    Pretty much what Forest Cat said. When you sign up to work in these places a big thing you're meant to stick to is confidentiality. Mentioning any names in your medical school PS isn't the best way to go. Plus it does take up valuable space.
    I think the OP was talking about naming the hospital or department itself, not individual patients. Surely this wouldn’t break confidentiality.

    Department, maybe. But names of the centre arent necessary.
