    well? cos i dint but im going uni and they want my name as it is on my birth cert. will this make my GCSEs/alevels invalid? do i need to keep the same candidate number as from high school?

    don't worry about it, lots of people change their names during their lives and their certificates are still valid.

    Just using a different form of your name shouldn't matter.

    I feel sorry for those students whose middle names are going to be looked at in a non-ordinary manner.

    what the hell are you talking about??

    what happened to me was my bank account is in my FULL name, cos of the IDs you need for opening one. when i later wanted to update my account cos of my age, they wouldnt let me use just my 1st and last names cos they said it could be a different person. i get the same confusion when applying for jobs and needing my nat ins card when i only use my 1st and last name. the reason i hate using my middle name is cos its really long and foreign.

    I have a dodgy middle name, but I put it on everything anyway.

    I have two candidate numbers from when I did exams at two schools, I'm assuming this won't be a problem
