    I'm currently working at a B (6)
Grade and I'd like to improve to an A or A*
In English language I work at an A*

Get familiar with the core text.
Improve your notes to cover themes and quotes.
Get some revision books. They are qute cheap for Eng lit books.
Keep practicing essays and making sue you answer the question.
Read examiners reports and mark schemes downloadable from the exam boards website.

I believe A* is a matter of 90% of UMS, so you dont need much improvement.
    Get feedback from your teacher.

You just have to id where you are missing a few marks and a way to improve a small amount. You arent far off.

Have a look at Mr Bruff as well. he has videos. see if hey help.
