I completed my A-level exams in the summer with grades of ABC in ICT, Psychology and Computer Science. I decided to take the year out and do a year long level 3 apprenticeship in software developmenta ( which I’m not enjoying too much) - everyone has now gone to uni and im beginning to doubt my decision as I see everyone enjoying the ‘student life’. So I’m now debating attending next year; but I am looking for advice regarding what’s people’s experiences were as I’ve now been offered a level 4 apprenticeship in software development which would last 18 months, but also an unconditional offer from great computer science unis such as Surrey. So essentially I feel that I can pursue the same career it just depends when I would want to do it? The decision has to be made soon as the apprenticeship offer may go. So in (unbiased) opinions is it worth just going to uni for the ‘life’?
