    Im applying as a resit achieved AAB (Predicted A*AA) UKCAT AV 643 im applying to hyms bristol liverpool and plymouth. If the standard offer is AAA for bristol could they ask me for A*AA?

    I don't think it is allowed to ask a specific individual for A*AA if the requirement for everyone is AAA.
    Why are you concern about this specifically? Do you need to resit all three subjects?

    I think it may be worth checking with the admissions department at your future university that they don't require you to sit all three a-levels in the same year?!

    My friend who studies Law at Queen Marys had pointed out to me that this is a requirement for them for example. So if you want to improve, you need to sit all 3 subjects in the same year. Apparently, this is to replicate the 'stress' students go through to get a good grade.

    I might be wrong here and don't want to dis-encourage you , but with this new linear A-level approach especially if you want to get into medicine, it may not be as straight forward.

    yeah I was worried about that but lierally called admissions like 10 minutes ago most medical schools dont consider resits but the ones that do said that only one resit was fine. But thank you so much for your helpppp
