    Hi,

I had trouble with getting my evidence sorted for my Birth Certificate confirmation so I was approved 1st October. My loans have been scheduled and my first payment was supposed to be 18th September 2017 but due to being late I didn't get it then. When should I expect my first payment?

Has your attendance been confirmed by the uni? As long as all your evidence has been sorted, it should only take a few days to be in your account.

    Hi ollie gooding,

Once you have returned your customer declaration form, the terms and conditions of the loan, the status of your application will then be approved.

Please note, if this is the first year that you are receiving a loan, there is one final process that needs to take place.
We will need to validate your National Insurance Number with the Department of Work and Pensions.

This is a normal process and only happens when you are a new student. It will be sent to DWP, the first Wednesday after your application is approved and will be returned the following Wednesday.

Once returned as valid and your university or college has confirmed your registration on the course, you can be confident your first payment will be submitted, a bank transfer takes three to five working days.

You will be able to check the progress from your online account.

    Thanks Rona
