    can 3 A* b equivalent to 4 A in A Level? How can u get a distinction in a level? Whats the highest grade in as and can u get a distinction in it??

    It depends on what you mean by equivalent. If you've been given a university offer conditional on you getting AAAA at A Level (not a very common offer but anyway), then A*A*A*B would not fulfil that condition and it would be up to the university whether to accept you or not. In terms of UCAS points, A*A*A*B is superior to AAAA, but not many universities care about UCAS points, certainly not the universities with those kinds of entry requirements.

    There's no such thing as distinction at A Level. The highest grade is A* at A Level, and A at AS.
