so basically, math is my favorite subject( and probably my best subject)
and i really want to get a 8 in the new gcse. I'm predicted a 7 for gcse math but i want to achieve higher then that( not that 7 is a bad grade). in lesson, i really feel like i'm working at a level 8 but however, the only problem is i seem to never do as well in tests compared to my actual performance (in year 10, i mostly got 7s and i got only one grade 8 in one of the tests). so whats the best revision tips and methods you recommend me so i could get that 8 in maths?

Don't worry about your predicted grade, after all it is only a prediction: you achieve higher than that.
Maths is all about practise so it is best to practise as much as you can (and daily). Also doing past papers would help greatly and would improve you grades massively since exam questions are reused again and again in papers.
I suggest checking out gcse maths exam papers for previous years and doing a few a day to keep it fresh in your mind.

I was 4 marks away from a 9 this year so my advice if you want an 8 is to do lots of level 2 further maths past papers as the questions are harder (though some require extra knowledge, others don't) than normal GCSE and prepare you for the last few questions of the GCSE exam.
Also, I know that I could have got a 9 if I had put more effort into the multiple choice questions and not made some stupid mistakes - so don't rush through the exam paper. You can afford to take your time on questions.
