Haha... actually I've got an offer from Imperial and I had my interview 2 months ago. Ignore the sig because it doesn't seem to let me get rid of my sig or change it... made the sig 2 years ago but the edit account section has changed a little...
Ah, i didn't see ur sig - I meant the masters in advanced computing course (as in the post graduate program) :P thought core 2 maths seemed a bit low (no offence of course!). Well, I've been going through further maths stuff tonight anyway :P can't hurt.

Hey,

I have got an interview coming up with Mr. Jacobson for MSc in Advanced Computing.

So basically, I should expect some Logic and Maths questions?

thanks

I had an interview with Mr Jacobson for the MSc Advanced Computing course and didn't get any sort of questions. All I did was discuss what modules I was interested in and then he told me if I understood that this was a theory oriented course and not a practical one. Then he told me I need a Class I BSc degree, even though the requirements afterwards said Class II. In the end I got a Class I so I can not verify if Class II is alright. I also did not dress too smart, just jeans and a shirt. He also pointed out that MSc Advanced Computing is aimed at BSc Computer Science graduates while MSc Computer Science is aimed at graduates from other related diciplines.

any new experiences with interviews for MSc Postgraduate study (Computing in my case). I got invited for one...
I've nicked all the interview questions from my personal tutor's room since he's also the admissions tutor. Anyone want them? They're pretty much all logic and maths questions.

I was just kidding btw, after loads of MSc applicants messaged me for the questions. Didn't even know there were questions for post-grad applications.

I have one this week too. When is yours Rahaa? Have you had it? Would love to hear how it went. I haven't done maths in ages, do I need to revise it?

Hi

Mine is tomorrow. I'll let you know the result. I have no idea if they're going to give us math problems. I think that's for undergrad applicants.
