Second degree in nursing

Hi, I passed my social work degree 2016. I was told I would get funding again for the nhs nursing course as it all changed August 2017. However, I have applied for finance and they are saying I am not eligible? Thanks, Ellie

Hi Eleonergraham34,

Some awards authorities have restrictions on what funding is available, based on where the study is carried out.

Students domiciled in England, Students studying in England

From 2017, new students studying Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional students may no longer be eligible to receive the NHS bursary.

However, from 17/18 they will be eligible to receive full SFE funding on any of these courses and any years of previous study will be disregarded.
